About Me

Hello! My name is Jess and I've been a certified veterinary technician since 2015, but an animal lover my entire life. I have worked with exotic companion mammals, birds of all sizes, and small animals. I completed my certification as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practioner (CCRP) in March 2021 and received my certificate from the University of Tennessee. I am currently working towards a certificate in Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, a 100 hour continuing education program as well.
I decided to start Companion Care LLC because I wanted to help companions from the comfort of their homes while helping owners easily follow the treatment plans provided by their veterinarian. Also, I'm a firm believer that maintaining a healthy Body Condition Score and activity level can help companions live longer, healthier and happier lives.
I have three furbabies of my own, each with their own special needs. Nubbins is my three legged lab/golden retriever mix. Nina is my sweet girl who lives with idiopathic epilepsy. Lastly, my sweet and sassy Nitro is a labrador retriever who is living with skeletal dysplasia as well as muscular dystrophy.
